About Julia
Julia's journey into mental health counseling began with a political science background at Monmouth University, where she explored the psychological roots of social movements. A period caring for her late grandparents further deepened her understanding of human connection and the art of compassionate caregiving.
In 2015, Julia pursued her passion, enrolling in Monmouth’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She excelled in her studies, particularly focusing on the role of neuroscience in mental health. Her early practical experience included an internship at a drug and alcohol treatment facility, providing valuable insights into addiction's complexities.
Julia later interned and completed her supervised associate counselor hours at Integrated Care Concepts and Consultation (ICCC). There, she gained extensive experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, occupational stress, and self-esteem issues. Julia brings a blend of knowledge, empathy, compassion, and humor to her practice, aiming to empower her clients.
Outside her practice, Julia enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and dogs. She also dedicates time to exercising, reading, researching diverse topics, and watching documentaries.
